Summary: Pocket Dragon Dungeon requires no account and collects no contact information such as your name or email address. Because the app includes advertising and in-app purchases, third-party services handle advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, in-app interactions, diagnostics, and purchase history. Anything related to advertising applies only to players who select the adult age range.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy describes how the Android application
Pocket Dragon Dungeon (Japanese title: ぽけっとドラダン),
package name io.github.bonkoturyu.pocket_dragon_dungeon,
handles information. The application is developed and published by
a few / Bon's Develop Lab ("we", "us"), an
individual developer.
2. Information collected
The application includes advertising and in-app purchases. Through those features the following information is collected and shared with third parties. We do not hold any of it in a form that identifies you personally; each item is handled by the provider of the relevant SDK.
| Category | What | Purpose | Collected by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Device or other IDs | Android advertising ID, app set ID | Advertising | Google (AdMob) / Unity (LevelPlay) |
| Approximate location | General area estimated from your IP address | Advertising | Google (AdMob) |
| App interactions | Launches, taps, rewarded video views | Advertising and analytics | Google (AdMob) / Unity (LevelPlay) |
| Diagnostics | Performance data for the app and the SDK | App functionality and analytics | Google (AdMob) |
| Purchase history | Record of in-app purchases | Unlocking and restoring purchases | RevenueCat |
Everything related to advertising applies only to players who select the adult age range. See §5.
What is not collected
- Names, email addresses, or any other contact information
- Account identifiers or authentication credentials — the app offers no account feature
- Precise location such as GPS coordinates
- Photos, files, contacts, calendar entries, or microphone input
- Crash telemetry — the app contains no crash reporting SDK
The application requests no Android runtime permissions (location,
camera, storage, notifications, and the like). The permissions it
declares are android.permission.INTERNET and
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE for networking,
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID together with the
Privacy Sandbox permissions for the advertising ID,
com.android.vending.BILLING for in-app purchases, and
android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE and
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK, which the advertising SDK
uses.
3. Data stored on your device
The following is stored only on your device. It is never sent to our servers, and we cannot access or transfer it.
- Your age range — we do not ask for a date of birth
- Your advertising consent state
- Progress: tutorial completion and cleared runs
- Dragon appearance settings
- Volume and language settings
- A short-lived cache of your purchase state, kept for network outages. Google Play and RevenueCat remain the source of truth.
Progress, appearance settings, and tutorial prompts can be reset from the in-app settings screen; volume and language settings are kept. Uninstalling the application removes all of it.
4. Third-party services
The application uses the following third-party services.
- RevenueCat — in-app purchase management and restore. Privacy policy
- Unity LevelPlay — ad mediation. Privacy policy
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK — ad serving. Privacy policy
- Google User Messaging Platform — advertising consent in the EEA, the UK, and other applicable regions.
Each provider handles data according to its own privacy policy, outside our control.
5. Age and advertising
The application asks for your age range once and stores the answer on your device. It does not ask for a date of birth.
- If no age range is selected, or if you select under 13, or 13 to 17: the advertising SDKs are not initialised. No ads are shown, and none of the advertising-related collection in §2 takes place.
- If you select 18 or over: the advertising SDKs are initialised and ads are shown. In the EEA, the UK, and other applicable regions, consent is obtained through the Google User Messaging Platform first, and initialisation happens only once ad requests are permitted.
You can change or withdraw consent at any time from the in-app settings screen. Withdrawing stops ad display and the related collection.
6. Your choices and deleting data
- Advertising ID: reset or delete it from Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.
- Advertising consent: change or withdraw it from the in-app settings screen.
- On-device data: reset it from the in-app settings screen, or uninstall the application.
- Purchase history: request deletion at the contact address in §11. We will delete the corresponding records held by RevenueCat. Records we are required to retain for accounting or fraud prevention may be excluded where the law requires it.
All advertising and purchase traffic from the application is encrypted in transit.
What is deleted, and how long it is kept
| Data | Held by | Retention and deletion |
|---|---|---|
| Age range, advertising consent state, progress, dragon appearance, volume and language settings, short-lived purchase cache | Your device only | Kept until you uninstall the application. Resetting from the in-app settings screen, or uninstalling, deletes it immediately. We cannot access it. |
| Purchase history | RevenueCat | Kept so purchases can be unlocked and restored. On request at the contact address in §11, we delete it within 30 days. Records we are legally required to retain for accounting or fraud prevention are kept until that obligation ends. |
| Advertising ID, approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics | Google (AdMob) / Unity (LevelPlay) | Retained for the periods set out in each provider's privacy policy. We do not retain any of it. You can reset or delete the advertising ID from Android Settings at any time. |
We hold no user data of our own. We operate no servers; everything above resides either on your device or with the third-party services listed in §4.
7. About Google Play
Google LLC distributes the application through the Google Play Store. Independently of us, Google may collect information about downloads, installs, and crashes. That processing follows Google's privacy policy and falls outside this policy, as it is beyond our control.
8. Children's privacy
The application is not designed for children and is not directed at anyone under 13. When the age range is set to under 13, or to 13 to 17, the advertising SDKs are not initialised and no advertising-related information is collected. If you believe a child under 13 has used the application, please contact us at the address in §11.
9. Your rights
To exercise rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction, or data portability under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA, Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information, or comparable laws, contact us at the address in §11. For data held by the third-party services listed above, the procedures in their own privacy policies are also available to you.
10. Changes to this policy
If the way the application handles data changes, we update this page along with the effective date and the revision history below. Material changes take effect before the release of the application version they apply to.
| Version | Effective date | Applies to app version | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2.1 | 2026-09-13 | v1.0.0 (first production release) | Added a table to §6 setting out what is deleted and how long each category is retained. No change to how data is handled. |
| 2.0 | 2026-09-13 | v1.0.0 (first production release) | Full revision for the addition of advertising (Unity LevelPlay / Google AdMob) and in-app purchases (RevenueCat). Added the information collected, data stored on the device, how the age range controls advertising, and how to request deletion. The earlier statement that no information is collected described 0.1.x and does not apply to v1.0.0. |
| 1.1 | 2026-08-05 | 0.1.x (closed test) |
Documented that the build declares
android.permission.INTERNET, which the Unity engine
adds by default. No change in behaviour: still no network
requests and no data collection.
|
| 1.0 | 2026-08-04 | 0.1.x (closed test) | Initial publication. No data collection. |
