Thanks for helping me test this. Joining takes about 3 minutes, and one run of the game takes about 15. To publish on Google Play I need 12 people to stay in the test for 14 days.
How to join
-
Join the Google Group
Open the group page with the link below, then press Join group on that page.
Open the Google Group page → Opening it does not join youIf I already added you to the group, skip this and go to step 2.
-
Become a tester
Open the opt-in page with the link below, then press Become a tester on that page.
Open the tester opt-in page → Opening it does not opt you inAn “item not found” error means step 1 has not gone through yet.
-
Install from Google Play
After step 2, press Download it on Google Play on the same page, or use the link below.
Open Google Play → Do step 2 firstThe store will label it “Early access”. That is expected.
Three things that matter
Do steps 1 and 2 in that order. If you open step 2 before joining the group, you will get an “item not found” error.
Use the same Google account throughout, and make sure it is the account your phone's Play Store is signed in with. This is where people with multiple accounts get stuck.
Please keep the app installed for the whole test. Uninstalling resets the counter and I would have to start over. You do not have to play every day — just leave it installed.
Tell me what you thought (optional)
One run takes about 15 minutes. If you are up for it, the survey takes 3 minutes.
Go to the survey Forms in English and JapaneseSkipping it is fine, and so is bailing halfway. “It was boring” and “I had no idea what was going on” are the most useful answers I can get. I will let you know when the app updates — filling it in again then helps me see what changed.
If something does not work
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| “Item not found” | Check that you joined the group. If you just joined, give it 10–15 minutes and try again. |
| The app does not show up in the store | Tap your avatar in the top right of the Play Store, switch to the account you joined the group with, then open the link again. |
| “Your device isn't compatible” | The app needs Android 7.1 or later on a 64-bit device. Try another device if you have one. |
| The update has not arrived | Rollout can take a few hours. You can also update manually from “My apps” in the Play Store. |
If that does not help, send a screenshot to a.few.dragon.info@gmail.com.
